A Unique Approach

The body remembers what the mind forgets.

Jacob Levy Moreno

Jordan’s approach to coaching focuses on the whole person, drawing on research-based techniques to meet you where you are. He offers steady support as you work through what you may already know intellectually, but haven’t quite been able to live out. By working through real moments, not just talking about them, old reactions loosen, and something more grounded, calm, and clear-headed becomes available in their place, allowing you to pursue what matters most to you.

Jordan Purpero, LPC, PCC

Jordan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) trained through the Hudson Institute of Coaching, with over 15 years of experience as a consultant and executive coach including time at Accenture and, most recently, as VP of Consulting at Onsite Workshops. Jordan's experience gives his coaching a depth and focus that goes beyond typical performance-based approaches.

In his therapy practice, Jordan works with adults and couples navigating transitions and relationship challenges. He helps clients recognize the patterns that keep them stuck: the pressure to perform, stress that won't let up, people-pleasing, codependence, trauma, and blurred boundaries. He brings that same lens into the workplace, using experiential modalities to help leaders and teams work through burnout and performance issues, leadership and team development, change fatigue, and career stagnation or creative block.

He has presented workshops and led groups on Human Centered Leadership, Change and Compassion Fatigue, and Conflict and Trust. His style is empathetic, curious, and rooted in presence, drawing on Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, Narrative, Psychodrama and Experiential approaches to help clients understand not just what they're carrying, but where it comes from and how to move forward from it.
